She might be having some problems in her life, you should try to understand and help her out. I just dropped a’friend’ 12 years i put up with her envy and selfishness i listened to all her life stories and her whole childhood over and over and over and always forgave her for the shitty things she done to me and always defended her to others. What she did for me is NOTHING. She doesnt even know how many sibilings i have and not once did she speak up for me by telling the truth. I believe there is a problem with me why I kept giving her chances im working on that now. I’ve been home for five months, not able to work because of a tumor in my knee, could barely walk using forearm crutches, and I was so certain three people from work would keep in touch with me. I work as a receptionist at a university and I became friends with three students, the same age as I am… So they always replied after a while and then they just stopped. I texted them again, feeling lonely, and nothing. Now it’s like two or three months since I’ve heard from them. I was on a surgery already and now I’m waiting for another one… They just forgot about me completely… In like another two months I could probably come back to work and I’m not sure how to act towards them when we meet. Fake friends are those who you can spend so much time with and genuinely feel like your getting close then you realise they weren’t your friend, they were just this adult sized crying baby that you had to lug around. In my experience my fake friends are just so obsessed and they want to be you. They want what you have. And they don’t care about your wellbeing. They need to insult you to feel good because they think that’s what will make them “cool” or better in some way. It just makes them look stupid. I’d rather be lonely then let fake people ruin my life, but at the same time it feels like pouring lemon juice in a cut. You wanted to believe them, you wanted to be their friend.
